Welcome to the information service of the New.Zealand Consulate in Papeete, French Polynesia.
The New.Zealand Consulate is headed by an Honorary Consul who is available to assist and advise New.Zealanders visiting or residing in French Polynesia and residents of French Polynesia interested in New.Zealand.
The New Zealand Embassy to the French Republic (France) is located in Paris, and is responsible for:
diplomatic, political and trade relations between New Zealand and France, including France's overseas countries and departments
assisting New Zealanders who encounter problems while holidaying or residing in France and its overseas countries and departments (excluding France's Pacific overseas countries - see below)
official New Zealand representation at cultural and commemorative events in France and its overseas countries and departments (excluding France's Pacific overseas countries - see below)
The New Zealand Ambassador to France is Ms Jane Coombs.
The Embassy is supported by the New Zealand Consulate-General in Noumea, New Caledonia, headed by Consul-General, Mr Bruce Shepherd.
The Embassy and Consulate-General are supported by the New Zealand Consulate in Papeete, French Polynesia, headed by Honorary Consul, Mr Eric Malmezac.
