The official website of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) includes a Directory of New.Zealand's Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates headed by career diplomats.

 

New Zealand Consulates are headed by either a career diplomat, known as a Consul or Consul-General, or an Honorary Consul or Honorary Consul-General, who does not have diplomatic status but has consular status with limited consular immunity, and performs his or her consular functions on a part-time basis.

A New Zealand Honorary Consul or Honorary Consul-General is supervised by a New Zealand Embassy or High Commission, which in turn represents the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) in Wellington, New Zealand.
